Lessons from Life

Life surely brings ups and downs. One thing we should learn on each process is how to appreciate people and things once we have. A humble characteristic of a person is like a diamond in the sand, but that what makes us could stand still and firm. Hold onto faith, and the path will look easier to step through. 

Chin up when we face problems but stay humble when we finally reach our comfortable place. Treasure every single step and process. Yet, not to forget the helpers. They could be our familiy, friends, or even strangers. Somehow, someway, they taught us to be what we are now.

Appreciate others means YOU appreciate yourself...

Laced Life

Have you ever feel lost? As if there is no meaning in your daily routine life? You want to break-free but you don't know where to start?

One day you wake up and realize that time moves on without your consent. Somehow years pass us by and bit by bit what we start with passion has dwindle into real life. Most of us will in the end submit to life and live life as what others expect us to be. Most of us will forget our own passion. Most of us will never even bother with it. Some will even forget who they are. Some never found out who they really are. Some sacrifices their own passion for their loved ones. Some let go of ambition in order to support someone else's. Some throw away love for money. Some sells dignity for fame. Some defy their own beliefs. Some settle to something they would never even consider when they were still naive and brave. Some are crazy enough to live like mad. Some others magically find the balance between life, love, passion, greed and morality. Which one are you?  

Don't we all wish we were the balanced kind? 

Every choice has its own consequences and sacrifices. There is nothing perfect in this world. When you choose to submit to life and let go of ambition, you loose your passion but you might get a family instead. When you choose your partner instead of your career, you might get love, but you'd probably loose your pride. It's different for everyone. It's just that sometimes, they knew too late which one is actually in fact more important. For some, letting go of ambition for family might be the best decision of their life. But for some others, letting go of ambition for family means losing themselves.  

How to be the balanced kind? I don't know... I guess you have to feel life with all your senses, beaten down by it, heal yourself, grow up and pray that you will finally be wise enough to know how to be one.

Whatever choices you make, choose wisely. Most of the time it’s too late to make amends.

Neutral vs Colorful

A promise is merely nothing but words said and written. A promise without realization is just alphabets flying in the air. It is as meaningless as unspoken words, but those meaningless words are the words that might hurt us the most. When words we believed betrayed us, we curl up and cried. We mourn for the dead of the once living words. As how we mourn for everything else, one day we will be able to accept the fact that when something dies, sooner or later we have to let it go. No matter how painful. We need to let go in order to continue smiling.

And then one day our heart will start to learn believing in promises said and written by someone else. And maybe, then, that one will not be merely words, but real promises cherished forever.
